Are you compliant under the 21st Century Cures Act Update for G(10)?

ONC Certification HIT 2015

21st Century Cures Act Update

Now, more than ever, all vendors will need to be certified. We strongly believe complying with the latest requirements of the 21st Century Cures Act update is of paramount importance and, as such, should take top priority.

You can achieve compliance for your customers under G (10) even if you could not get certified. Ask us.

Non-compliance affects you and your customers in two ways

  • Failure to meet the definition of a “Base EHR”
  • Possible non-compliance penalties for Providers and Practices that use the non-Base EHR

Cures Act deadline was Dec 31, can we help?

2015 Edition Cures Update Base Solution

The 2015 Edition Cures Update Base Electronic Health Record (EHR) definition is a modification to the 2015 Edition Base EHR definition due to certification criteria changes adopted by the ONC Cures Act Final Rule. In the event that you are unable to set a certification date or that time has run out, it is still important that you meet the requirements of an “base EHR” for the good of your customers.

Carefluence also understands that each of our clients has a unique business model. Carefluence will work with them on applicable options based on the demands of your system. Furthermore, the Carefluence technical team will be involved in the certification process at every stage until completion to ensure all EHRs provide their customers with a G(10) compliant system.. Carefluence services also go beyond completing certification, after sales support for all your interoperability needs in general.

The Carefluence Difference

  • Carefluence has spent almost 10 years in researching, developing and implementing Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR).

  • In 2016 Carefluence was the first company to certify a FHIR based OpenAPI from the ONC.

  • Carefluence goes beyond compliance. The Carefluence platform delivers true interoperability capability to a HealthIT customer.

  • You get more with Carefluence: A FHIR server and database, OAuth and OpenID security protocol capability, Implementation of the USCDI standard, API Management Interface, Reference Adapters (as needed) and API documentation to meet compliance.

  • Hosting flexibility: While Carefluence prefers to host their instance on the customers’ servers, customers can also choose to connect with Carefluence hosted servers if customers have server limitations.

  • Payment model flexibility. Carefluence is aware that each of its customers has different business models and Carefluence will work them on different options.

  • For certification purposes the Carefluence tech team will participate in the process of testing and certification.

  • People who opt with Carefluence will ‘future proof’ their FHIR API strategy – Carefluence will constantly update and enhance the system to meet future needs based on new regulations from the ONC in the near future. That is of substantial value to its customers.
